I had a lot of fun designing this album. As a wedding album designer, sometimes you get the photos chosen for you and sometimes you get the opportunity to have full control. I had complete control over which images to choose, which brings a lot of pressure and challenges, because you have so many options for photos and layouts. This was of a traditional Chinese wedding, which had a lot of events involved, such as tea ceremonies, traditional door games, flash mobs during their reception and more. I had to keep in mind that a picture is worth a thousand words. Less is more. That became my focus for this album. Each page was dedicated to highlight a certain event during their day, either by having one big moment supported by multiple images or with multiple powerful images that tell a story. When the album came together, it was like finishing a puzzle, it became one of my most rewarding experiences in design.
